I commend you for being so open about your need for advice and input. I believe that is the first step in building great loving relationships: admitting you don't have all the answers and that you need help! I read the Bible on daily basis and I've found this scripture which commends your actions as well: Proverbs 11: 14 "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure." People tend to think having a good relationship is easy: you just need to feel strong, cuddly feelings for someone and everything will be ok. I believe that is a fallacy that causes many people to give up on perfectly viable relationships that could get better given some hardwork, humility, and perseverance which lend themselves eventually to maturity, understanding and deeper love. That said, my advice is to address this issue spiritually. I recommend spending daily time in reading the Bible, applying the principles you find there, praying for help from God, and asking advice of people who have good insight into these issues. I appreciate your humility and openness. I'll be sure to add you to my advice circle when I need help, which is often! All the best, Christa Nunez
